AROI Karnataka congratulates Dr. Dilson Lobo, Associate Professor, and Dr. Paul Simon, Senior Resident, of the Department of Radiation Oncology, Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, on being awarded the UICC Technical Fellowship 2026 by the Union for International Cancer Control, Geneva.
Dr. Dilson Lobo will undergo advanced training in Liver SBRT at The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, Manchester, UK. Dr. Paul Simon has been awarded the fellowship for training in Advanced Motion Management and SABR for GI/Abdominal Tumours.
UICC Technical Fellowships are competitive international awards that enable cancer professionals to train at leading cancer centres abroad and bring new techniques back to their home institutions. AROI Karnataka wishes them both a rewarding fellowship and looks forward to them sharing their learnings with members.
